Soak Up The Season at These Cambridge Parks

Whether you're looking to exercise outdoors or simply want to explore the stunning fall foliage, the parks around Cambridge, MA have you covered. Plenty of sports and fitness opportunities abound — or you can just enjoy a scenic picnic among the fall leaves. Check out these four parks near our Cambridge apartments when you're in the mood to get outside.

Danehy Park

Fifty acres provides plenty of space for all your favorite outdoor activities at Danehy Park. Get friends together for a game of soccer or softball, or you can take a solo jog or bike ride around the area. The city turned a former landfill into a beautiful landscape for all its residents to enjoy.

Lechmere Canal Park

Minutes away from Flats on First apartments sits Lechmere Canal Park. Sit and enjoy the serenity of the area near the fountain or walk along the provided paths. A special committee works together to care for the community and maintain its appeal.

Charles River Reservation

Although "park" may not be in this location's name, it still fits the bill. Charles River Reservation boasts dozens of activities for residents of the area to enjoy. Bike, boat, kayak, canoe, walk, fish, picnic, skate and utilize the many athletic fields. The area has it all.

Cambridge Common

The historical landmark that is Cambridge Common offers 16 acres of space. Various paths intertwine through the area, making it an ideal location for walking and biking. The Alexander W. Kemp Playground also resides in the vicinity.
